Not reliable. He probably came up with this string of syllables as well. I'd say Ph'Tang or F'Tang would be the correct spelling, because this was also used as one of the names for the "Silly Candidates" in the Monty Python election sketches, and it was one of Graham Chapman's favourite nonsense/gibberish words.
